Notes

NEW RECORD 16 Sep 2026 [LIKELY birth date - 1940 cert + FS GWK4-33X (parents Jan Jans Bonenberg x Grietje Eibrink); the register row itself is offline]. CERT FATHER-FIELD ERROR ADJUDICATED: the cert's father field reads "Steve Boneburg" but the informant was Jacob's own son Steve - Jacob is JAN's son (Steven's actual son Jacob b. 1910 is a different man). Adult in Jamestown 1895-96 (Ottawa birth register p.77 row 316: dau Vera J b. 20-12-1895, wife Hattie). 1884 MI state census Ottawa Jamestown p0597 lists Jacob in Jan's household. Spelling drift Bonenberg/Boonenberg/Boneburg/Bonenburg across MI records.
