• Notes

IMMIGRATION-YEAR CONFLICT (flagged 16 Sep 2026): this record says 1867 (corpus, from the Bevolkingsregister card + secondary sources); the 1900 census says immigration 1866 ("in US 33 yrs"); FS profile says 1866; a migenweb settler genealogy even says 1865. Family account (Griffin 2010) admits the date was unknown. Passenger list NOT FOUND free (ISTG/olivetree/ggarchives null; castlegarden timeout; FS NY index Incapsula-blocked) - behind-login route: Ancestry M237 rolls 271-290. Keep 1867 as recorded pending the passenger list. Born at VIERHOUTEN (Ermelo), NOT Doornspijk - why every earlier search missed. First wife Heintje/Hendrikje Haze (d. between 3-2-1858 and 31-3-1860); second wife Grietje Eijbrink (widow Schuiteman) m. 31-3-1860 Doornspijk. WARNING: CORRECTION: Conc: prior
